I’ve become picky when it comes to cooking my beans, because honestly I haven’t tasted many better beans out there. I buy my beans from Rancho Gordo. It makes a HUGE difference in flavor.
Pintos & Vallartas – The classic bean, and it’s distant cousin.
Garbonzos – Universal and delicious & nutritious.
Hominy – Not a bean. It’s corn. It’s awesome.
